Friday Night. My high school was hosting their usual "Interact Variety Show" and I regret to say that I barely watched half of it. (I had to be in charge of the ticket/snack sales with Ryan Fu, so we were practically on money duty the whole time.) I did get to see some performances, and based on the ones I saw, I knew I missed out. ): But oh well, it's not everyday you get to hold more than $800 in your hands. (What a pile!)
If you were to ask me which talent I like most, I can't really say. First reason be it that I didn't see everything, and second because nearly each act was equally good! There were amazing singers, dancers, and musicians all bundled under one big and dark roof. It was quite the show. The theater class did this one act where they they all just got up and winged it; I still can't get over how great their acting and humor was.
Funny thing happened after the talent show though. Me and a couple of friends were stacking the chairs back on carts and pushing them to the cafetaria. When we were on our last cart, the guys decided they could push it by themselves. For the fun of it, me and this other guy named Matt got on the cart and were playing passengers. Whoever steered the cart didn't do so well since we bumped onto the poles several times. But the best part, was when the handles broke on both sides of the cart! By the time we got to the threshhold we were having difficulty since the cart got stuck and we were getting very frustrated. The janitors laughed at us, but helped out in the end. :)
That was a truly memorable night...even if I did get home at 10pm and haven't started on my homework at all.
(PS: Props to Bryan Wong for inspiring me to start blogging!:D)
Name: Dyana Home: About Me: I am an odd person. I'll admit it because I can't really figure out who I am exactly. I think that's what life is partially about: figuring out who you really are, that, and happiness. I don't think many do find out who they really are in the end, but make a marvelous journey trying. I think that's beautiful. Frankly, I don't really want to find that one word or thing that would describe me perfectly. I think I'll just sit along with the ride and let everything just roll as it goes. I'm a very spontaneous person. See my profile...
Oh wow. I didn't even realize that I got props until I came down into the comments box. xD
I just blogging doesn't distract you from the homework that I know you love doing. :P
