001; "Third Time's the Charm?" |

This is my third blog title change. (Oh, when will this madness end?) Forgive me. I am terribly indecisive and when I feel a need for change, a change will definitely follow.
The title of my new blog is: A PRETTY DORMANT LIFE.
[The definition of dormant is as follows: (n.) a state of rest or inactivity; inoperative; in abeyance]
Ever since I've entered high school, I have entered many states of reflection. Some of the things I reflect on may as well be in different galaxies, but one of the things I think about often, is how tied-down my life feels.
Don't get me wrong. I have many freedoms and privileges. But with so much of my life currently centered on work, it seems like my childhood was taken faster than I could even blink. And thus the word "dormant" enters into my life.
I feel I am stuck in a "mellow" and "inactive" state in life. Until I get the feeling that I've "waken", I don't think this title will change for awhile...
Today was the first lab we had in Chem. class. Let's just say, I'm not used to the whole "working in the lab" thing. (I dislike safety goggles immensely.)
It was unimaginably windy at the bus stop today. My poor head was tossed and turned in every which way. It was quite the nauseating experience. (Come on Summer, wtf?)
Unfortunately, I didn't really run into anyone I knew to ride the CCC WestCat bus with, so it was quite...awkward.
Sitting around my area included: this old black man carrying KFC leftovers and chatting with the bus driver about "lets go drink wine together sometimes", an Asian guy that reminded me of Richie from "La Bamba" (trust me, they look nothing alike. But his pants exposing too much sock reminded me of the way men used to dress back in the 50's.), another Asian guy that is just...weird, really weird, this white man who had a weird tendency to fiddle with his hands in snapping motions, and finally, another Asian boy that looked like he came from Hercules.
Needless to say, I'm glad I had at least my MP3 to listen to. If I didn't, who knows? Maybe I could've made conversation with one of them. Then again, I probably wouldn't have even dared.
Interesting Fact of the Day: I am not the best lab partner to have. I work quite slowly and I doubt a lot and think in "what if's".

About Me: I am an odd person. I'll admit it because I can't really figure out who I am exactly. I think that's what life is partially about: figuring out who you really are, that, and happiness. I don't think many do find out who they really are in the end, but make a marvelous journey trying. I think that's beautiful. Frankly, I don't really want to find that one word or thing that would describe me perfectly. I think I'll just sit along with the ride and let everything just roll as it goes. I'm a very spontaneous person.
