He Did WHAT?! |
To all the people who blog: I adore your spirit and do not fear- you're not alone! (I love blogs, but from my lack of posts, you can tell I am not the best of examples.)
Second day of Marching Band Camp has come and gone. We returned to the land of fake astroturf grass and rosted beneath the sun for quite sometime. Last year I remember, I hated trying to play and march at the same time. It was so awfully confusing. I got very scared of messing up and wishing I wasn't so, because I really wanted to feel like I was enjoying myself.
In addition, we had a drill down today. (This is a side, but thoe blackberries growing near the fence in the basketball courts look delicous and ready to be picked!) I tried my best to stay in as long as possible. Actually, I did the best I've ever done before, which made me really satisfied. I was only disappointed that I got so far but couldn't make it. Congradulations though to: Bryan, Andrew, and Daniel. Who knows, maybe I'll get a ribbon this summer too. (I really like the yellow one...)
After band camp ended, I accompanied some friends for lunch. We stopped at Walgreens for various things- like beverages or food, and later brought a pizza at that one pizza place near the gas station by J-in-the-B. We ate the sausage pepperoni circle by the tennis courts. The crust was good. <3
Then of course, it was time to get home. I didn't feel like walking, so I decided to wait for the bus. I just missed the last one so I spent 30 minutes waiting. It felt nice sitting in the shade...alone with your thoughts.
Suddenly, the 16 arrived and I was ready. I turned to grab my bag and when I stood up with my wallet in hand, the bus had already drove past me. Somebody should've been there to capture the kodak moment that was my face. I was shocked. I never had that happen before. I even thought the bus driver would at least stop after noticing his mistake, but no, he just kept driving away. I was upset, so I toughened up and began walking 30 minutes home instead. I was a bit frustrated so I sped walk like crazy.
Just before I arrived near Collins Elementary. I come across two freshman boys from band. (lol...freshmen <3) I knew them from Middle School and not surprisingling, they haven't changed a bit. It turns out they were waiting for the 16 too and I decided to wait with them. I waited, though totally questioning my faith on our district's tranporation systems, because I'd at least have two other poeple to get the driver's attention. Well, the lady driver didn't miss us and I got a ride home. I guess it take a woman to do a job right. (Just kidding boys, but man...that male driver represented you lot BAD.)
Currently, I'm: a.)working on a sketch of a Hong Kong street. (will need two more days.) b.)practicing new music parts. I got a first part at last! :D c.)memorizing my speech....
Later you guys. I'll be a girl with a class scedule in less than 24 hours. :) |

Hmm..."You're Not Alone" is a really good song from a video game. :D
Haha, I also remember when my friend used to try to feed me those blackberries, but I was too scared to eat them.

Don't eat the blackberries! You don't want to know what hobos do to them... D:

About Me: I am an odd person. I'll admit it because I can't really figure out who I am exactly. I think that's what life is partially about: figuring out who you really are, that, and happiness. I don't think many do find out who they really are in the end, but make a marvelous journey trying. I think that's beautiful. Frankly, I don't really want to find that one word or thing that would describe me perfectly. I think I'll just sit along with the ride and let everything just roll as it goes. I'm a very spontaneous person.
