Okay, this is offically my nerdiest/geekiest post ever. So beware...for you have been warned! >:-D
1.) Let's start with my first topic: APOLLO JUSTICE : ACE ATTORNEY
(For those of you who didn't know, this is a Nintendo DS Game.)
In short, this is a RPG kind of game where you take up the protagonist (Apollo Justice) position and go off on this creatively crafted mystery storyline. You are a defense attorney and you must use your wit, logic, and "chords of steel" to make it through your trials and keep your defendant form being guilty. It's such a wonderfully developed plot. You fall in love with it almost instantly. (I had so much trouble putting it down sometimes.)
Well, just recently...*cough*on 12:48am*cough* I finished the game. I started last year. Pause for a whole year, started again this July and ended it today! Finishing it was a bit sad though. Like finishing a really good book. You're so glad to hit the end, but so disappointed to see it end there. (I hope someday I can write a novel that will leave my readers feeling that way.)
But I'm off topic!
In addition to this game, I have grown very fond of the characters. Yes, sad to say, I am very fond of my favorite character from the game: Apollo Justice, or as Klavier calls him: "Herr Forehead". He's such an adorable thing. Wearing a ridiculous red attire and those antennae-like bangs on his head. Aw... ;3
2.) Moving on to the next topic: AXIS POWER : HETALIA. (I've mentioned this before in a previous post but unlike last time, I know more about it.)
Hetalia is another one of those original but also enjoyable ideas. First started off as a web comic that is now also an anime. Hetalia focuses on the countries during WWI and WWII, but here's the catch: each country is represented as people.
Generally, the story is about Italy and it's alliance with the other Axis Powers: Germany and Japan. The Allied Forces are also mentioned. But the good thing about Hetalia is that it not only talks about history but also is a comedy. The author, would take interesting facts about some random events during the two wars and draw about them. For example, Russian soldiers once jumped off their plane without parachutes because they thought the "soft snow" would soften their fall. They didn't live to confirm that. *ouch*
Here's a low down on some of the main characters of Hetalia: a.) Italy: Weak and picked on. Depends too much on Germany on everything and loves pasta. b.) Germany: serious and sticks to the book. Looks after after Italy though he thinks he's annoying. c.) Japan: Speaks like an old man and has that quiet sarcastic, I'm-too-cool-for-you look. Also, he is known for his many creative inventions. d.) America: Always wants to be the hero, nosey, and always pictured either with a thumbs up or with a hamburger. He is known for lame inventions that do not work very well. e.) China: immortal and currently 4000 years old. Often pictured with pandas...and sometimes, hello kitty? f.) Russia: has a supposedly nice face but is secretly evil. Everyone thinks he's creepy. g.) France: lover of wine and of himself. Yeah...he's that typical narcissist type.
(There are of course, more Hetalia characters, but I didn't want to list them all. If you're interested though, here's a link: http://sites.google.com/site/hetaliaindexes/simple-character-introduction)
Personally, I like Hong Kong best, even though he's not really a major character. (I also like China America, and Italy.) <3>
Moreover, here's the first episode if anyone's interested. :)
Name: Dyana Home: About Me: I am an odd person. I'll admit it because I can't really figure out who I am exactly. I think that's what life is partially about: figuring out who you really are, that, and happiness. I don't think many do find out who they really are in the end, but make a marvelous journey trying. I think that's beautiful. Frankly, I don't really want to find that one word or thing that would describe me perfectly. I think I'll just sit along with the ride and let everything just roll as it goes. I'm a very spontaneous person. See my profile...
Yet, they've managed to leave out the Philippines.. =.=;
